One such incident saw Ferguson admit to kicking a boot at David Beckham’s face, leaving the ex-England captain needing stitches – while off-field disagreements with Jaap Stam and Ruud van Nistelrooy ultimately led to both players leaving the club.
Giggs says only a select few managed to escape Ferguson’s cheap football team kits sale wrath, including five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo and former club captain Roy Keane.
