However, Motaung hasn’t started pressing the panic buttonas yet; saying the 26-year-old’s future at the club is “safe”.
“I will speak to Mathoho and his agent sometime this week… no pressure. His future [at the club] is safe,” Motaung told Goal.
Motaung revealed that he hasn’t been able to discuss anything with either the player or his agent as he was out of the countryand only returned this past weekend.
“I have been overseas. I haven’t been to work, but maybe there will be an update later in the week,” he said.
Mathoho has been an integral member of Steve bellingham kit Komphela’s team over the last two seasons, and while there have been reports that he may soon leave for Europe, the player appears likely to stay at the club for the foreseeable future.
